Best quick refresher path for experienced developer in need of certificate

ThomasWarnaar
Level 4

Hi all,

I have been working as an RPA specialist (doing everything to do with RPA from start to finish) for the past 4 years using Blue Prism.

In that time our small team grew RPA from pilot stage to a large and important entity within our company. As such I would qualify myself as "experienced". Now because of this large footprint the companies hawk eyes have now turned to us and we are now required to get licensed. This is in principle no problem as I know BP inside and out, but I think it would be wise to quickly gloss over the university documentation as the exam will no doubt ask about particular best practices established by BP, use their terminology and may ask semi obscure things like the example of "which shortcut starts action X" or other features that I may not use very often.

For these reasons I would love to have some sort of handbook to refresh my knowledge such that I can learn BP's official style of thinking for the exam. However the university seems to only have video's that you MUST watch (completely? Large percentage? Definitely does not work just scrubbing to the end...) before you can click through to the next lesson. For the developer license the estimated completion time is about 42 hrs I believe. This is ofcourse way to much for an experienced developer and my question therefore is:

Q: Is there a way to quickly progress through or gloss over the university documents at your own pace?

Otherwise I'll probably just have to give the exam a go, but I'd rather be more prepared.

Thank you in advance!

Thomas Warnaar

Hi Thomas,

You can check out our Certification page on our website and take a look at the Certification Handbook that is available for this exam. It gives an outline of the exam content and there is also a link to our practice exam.
