🍵 Break Time: Help us create some stickers!

Hello automation pros!

🖌 Fancy a creative break?🖌

As you might imagine, the SS&C Blue Prism team are often attending industry events, customer offices, schools, universities and more. Wherever we go, we like to leave mementos, and one thing that is always well received are stickers!

But we’re in need of a stock refresh and, coincidentally, we also need some new default profile pictures here in the Blue Prism Community. And so we would like to challenge you to a sticker-making competition.

The concept is simple:

🎨 Design a sticker to be given out to automation enthusiasts! 🎨

It could be:

🤙 A play on an automation meme
🔷 A variation of our famous prism
🎤 A short phrase
♣️ An icon
🔮 Anything else that is automation themed!

Don’t worry if you’re not great with design tools – you can enter this contest by simply describing your sticker!

To take part, all you need to do is respond to this post with your concept or design. The concepts we think are best will be mocked up by the Blue Prism Creative Services team, and turned into real-life stickers & profile pictures. And of course, we’ll send a set of stickers out to everyone whose designs are used once they’ve been created.

🔐 A couple of conditions:

  • You must not use anyone else’s intellectual property in your design
  • As always, please ensure your responses adhere to the Community Guidelines
  • Ensure your design will be clearly legible at small sizes (eg. 5cm x 5cm)
  • If you take part, we reserve the right to use your concept or design to inform the creation of stickers and profile pictures

Anyone can take part (that includes you, SS&C Blue Prism staffers!), though you’ll need to share your sticker concept before 2nd June, 2025 for it to be considered.

Good luck!

I'm going to summon a creative genius here - @stepher - who once created an entire backstory for Bob the Bad Bot.

Also seem to recall @EVIPUTI has fantastic imagination!

And @EmilyBristow as our resident sticker super-fan 💙

Well… If @Michael_S  calls, I do my best to answer.  So, here goes…

But there are a couple of prefaces.  First, the images below were created using MS Copilot.  I do not believe they impinge on anyone’s IP.  If so, I profusely apologize.  Second, these same images are also not meant in any way to represent a ‘final draft’.  I thought they were humorous, at best.  Third, for whatever reason, I was thinking these physical stickers could be distributed at will, but ‘virtual’ versions could also serve as recognition on the BP site.  With all of this in mind, I present:

The Leonardo Da Vinci Sticker – In honor of LDV’s inventiveness, both practical and fanciful, this sticker would recognize significant contributions to the Digital Exchange.

A caricature of Leonardo Da Vinci as a robot.jpegDa Vinci's Vitruvian Man as a robot.jpeg

The next set requires a small bit of background.  Most people have at least heard of Socrates, Plato and Aristotle, but may not be aware that Socrates was a ‘teacher’ to Plato, who, in turn, was a ‘teacher’ to Aristotle.  The role of ‘teacher’ was a bit different than our current model, though.  Carrying through on the idea of learning and discourse and developing ideas…

The Socrates Sticker – Recognizing SS&C/Blue Prism team members who make significant contributions to the Community boards.

The Plato Sticker – Recognizing contributors at the ‘MVP’ level team members who make significant contributions to the Community boards.

The Aristotle Sticker – Recognizing contributors, who are not quite at the ‘MVP’ level, but make notable contributions to the Community boards.

Of the two Da Vinci options below, I prefer the ‘Petruvian Man as a Robot’.  The caricature of LDV is not quite on the nose, but it offers the option of making all these a thematic series.

I believe the first shot is fired...

  • "Your Process, My Mission" – A friendly robot gives a thumbs-up while holding a clipboard, showcasing dedication and ..
  • "Cloud. Process. Go." – A sleek, aviator-goggle-wearing prism flies through a data cloud, symbolizing speed

OK - I know this was created by AI but I HAVE TO ASK...

What's the extra "P" in MVPP going to stand for?
(I vote Most Valued Party Professional)

...I'll stop derailing the thread now 😂

Well party professional will be the best for sure. extra "P" was more for symbolizing partnership or community involvement..Most Valuable Professional Partner or somthing.. as MVP is already claimed by microsoft so i wanted it to be little new!
