Hi Tomasz,
As you probably are aware, we just had our first external software supplier removing anything IE related from their code without any announcement. Their motivation: '...IE is no longer supported by MS, we merely complied to that...'.
This view and its implementation made that their application did not run any more on Edge IE mode within our process, and we had to dive in to adjust our process and objects using that application to another browser not running IE mode, Chrome in our case.
While the view of our supplier is perhaps not very user friendly towards their customers, us in particular, more of this behavior might be expected from other suppliers within the next few months. My advice would be to anticipate this and migrate to another browser prior to finding out one day that your processes no longer work.

Happy coding!

Hi Tomasz.
The change to MV3-based extensions likely won't be an impact to IE mode because the BP browser extension is not used for spying/interfacing with Edge in IE Mode.

Hi,
do you know if objects based on "Edge on IE mode" (migrated from IE) will be affected by Google manifest V3? Especially I mean actions like "Insert JS fragment" or "Invoke JS function".
Kind regards
