Discussion closure control for Authors

Hi Team,

Recently it came to notice that older discussions dates more that 4 years reappear in the top of discussions which was already answered to the satisfaction. I guess there should be an archival/ stop/close discussion or  commenting option for discussions too

Thank you for this feedback! We've discussed this with the Community team, and you actually sparked an internal debate about this! We're going to have a larger discussion around this topic, and come up with a strategy for moving forward. Hi Jerin, 

We've investigated the feasibility of developing your idea and unfortunately, due to the amount of development required it won't be possible to bring this feature to life. As a feature like this isn't listed on our platform providers roadmap, we have implemented a yellow announcement banner at the top of threads that are over a year old to indicate it's an old thread, and to start a new thread.
