I am attempting to output a collection in Blue Prism to a .xlsx file.
Currently I am using the action "Get Collection as CSV" and then using the "Write Text File" action to create a CSV file. I am then creating an instance of Excel and opening the created csv file. I am then attempting to use the "Save Workbook As" action to convert the .csv file to a .xlsx file. On first glance this seems to be successful, but on opening the .xlsx file, Excel throws an error stating that the file format or file extension is invalid.
I have manually opened the .csv file, created by Blue Prism, and then saved this myself as a .xlsx file to which this is successful and does open as a .xlsx file. This leads me to believe that either I am doing something wrong with the "Save Workbook As" action or there is a bug with it.
Has anyone experienced this and if so, have a solution?

Thank you for being a SS&C Blue Prism customer and for using Blue Prism.
We are sorry to hear you are having issues with one of our assets.
Could you name the specific assets you are using and also the version of MS Excel that you are executing? Also your type and version number of Blue Prism.
This will help us to identify the issue and where needed issue a fix or workaround for you.

Hi Geoff,
Thanks for your reply. We are using Blue Prism Enterprise version 7.3 and Excel is version 2601 Build 19628.20214.
Could you please confirm what you mean by specific assets, I'm not sure what you need.
Thanks,
Michael

Sorry for not being more clear on this.
The actual assets you are using, you talk of the following actions
Get Collection as CSV
Write Text File
Which assets do these actions belong to, as I am not seeing them in the usual suspects I would infer from this.

Hi @GeoffHirst
So Get Collection as CSV is in the Business Object "Utility - Strings", Write Text File is in Utility - File Management and Save Workbook As is in MS Excel VBO Extended.
Hope this is what you need.
Thanks,
Michael

hi @michaelbratley,
Apologies for the rather tardy reply to this issue.
Are you using all the latest versions of each asset? In particular the File Management which, on the DX, the current version is 10.3.5.
Please come back to me when you can.
