Dataverse - uploading attachment via Blue Prism.

Hi

I am using the Dataverse connector to manipulate data in a Dataverse environment.

I'm trying to upload a document to a user defined table , with the column having a 'file' datatype. What is the syntax for the JSON. I know there is some sort of relationship between the table 'FileAttachment' (a system table) and the user defined table. Hoping someone has some idea. thanks

Hi Jonathan,

Here is the Dataverse documentation about File data upload API. You will have to build a VBO to call this API in order to upload files.

Use file column data (Microsoft Dataverse) - Power Apps 

The current version 1.1.0 of Dataverse connector on DX doesn't expose actions related to File API.

@Jonathan Pringle FYI - A new VBO has been included in the latest version of the Dataverse asset on DX that has actions to interact with File APIs of Dataverse
