Updates to the Digital Exchange (DX)

To our Digital Exchange users,

We want to share an important change to the Digital Exchange (DX).

To make it even easier to access assets you need to rapidly develop, extend, and reuse your automations, we’re introducing a new digital marketplace. Featuring an intuitive user interface and an AI-based search capability, the new DX will streamline and enhance the user experience, while accelerating your time to value.

The way you access the DX, DX support, or the DX Community will not change. As a reminder:

• For any support related queries, including problems or errors on existing assets, please contact dxsupport@blueprism.com
• For developer related issues, including queries about existing assets, advice on using assets, and requests for new features, please utilise the Digital Exchange forum here in the SS&C Blue Prism Community.

 

How to upload or update Digital Exchange assets:

There will be a short period where asset owners will not be able to self-service their updates. This includes Community posted assets as well as Technology Alliance Partners who are selling their third-party assets on the DX. Updates, changes and uploads can be requested through a change request initiated here.

@Neel1 yes, this feature that will return to the DX. We're actually working with our AI labs team on an improved capability. Timing is still being worked out.

I’m not sure if this has already been mentioned, but I believe the DX portal should include the following features:

1. DX should include functionality to allow user to Sort Assets by Name/Date/Reviews/Last Modified.
2. Just like we have a selection on community page where we can select number of results to be displayed DX Portal should include that functionality to be able to select how many items can be displayed for example 20, 50, 100 etc.
3. As of now to download any asset user follows following steps Search Asset->Click on Download button->Details Page will be opened->Again Click on Download->Click on Confirm button then the file will be downloaded, Instead User should have option to download the asset directly from the Main page after searching the asset, Also for few assets I have observed upon clicking multiple times on download button files doesn't gets downloaded.   
4. User should be able to filter out Assets based on criteria like Paid/Free/Supported by Community/DX Supported/Core VBO etc.
