Test dumps (aka ""brain dumps"") are a form of cheating that runs rampant in the IT industry and cheapen any legitimate certification people receive (and which frankly, really piss me off!)
People will take a test and record/memorise the questions (sometimes even getting the answers), then later dump them out - so that other people can memorise a bunch of things to simply pass a test without knowing jack about the material.
In the Cisco cert world, if it is discovered that you used a ""brain dump"" you will have your certs stripped and be banned from getting them again.
