I have a process to automate and have been informed that it can only be accessed via an Azure Virtual Machine.
We have always avoided any automation that would be “Citrix” due to the reliance on surface automation.
Given the advancements in Blue Prism since we started using it many years ago - is there now any better way to automated a virtual machine?

This might suit your needs. Essentially it's a proxy on the remote side of the Citrix divide that will perform the actions of a resource PC, based on instructions sent from your local BP.

Hi John, thank you for the details.
unfortunately we are on 7.2 with no plans to upgrade in the near future - I also don’t know if they are the same, but the machine would be an azure virtual desktop - is that the same as Citrix?

Ah apologies, I misunderstood. Although 7.2 has Citrix capability too, it's specific to machines (or apps) presented via Citrix and isn't a generic mechanism for any virtual hosting.
