Automation of application built using VB 6

Hi , Can anyone please help us in confirming if Blueprism supports Automation of applications built using Visual Basic ?  My understanding is Yes it is possible since its a windows forms application it can be automated via Blue prism. Is there any specific guide available for automation of VB applications ?

Yes, Blue Prism does support applications built in any .NET language. I don't think there is any guidance specifically for that. Are you encountering any issues with it? Anyway, think of it like this. AA and UIA were both made by Microsoft and so was VB. If you're having trouble using either of those spy modes, it's not likely an issue with the technology the app is built on but a setting on the device, perhaps security or other.

Problem is VB6 (in the topic) is not .Net. VB6 was the last version before MS released VB.Net and it does some non-trivial stuff afaik (no real experience with it)

You right. =)   I tend to click into Forum posts and look at the text in the body without noting the subject of the post. I saw VB and assumed VB.NET.
