Best approach for multiple restart of the RRs using Login agent

Hi all,
We are seeing that some of the machines will be in Connection lost stage even after restart, where restarting it again will make the machine online, can we change the login agent code to restart the machine twice in case the status is Connection lost, Can we read the status of the machine if it is online or Connection lost, please suggest the best approach to see all the machines as online after restart

Hi yashaswini,

in the past we had some diffculties after restart, too. After we changed the Login Agent service from "Automatic" to "Automatic (Delayed start)" the problems went away. Give it a try.
A second change might be to read the table BPAResource, There is  a column "DisplayStatus". This column should represent the current resource state.

Hi Yashaswini

I agree with Tobias response as well. We had similar issues and setting login agent service to delayed start has helped.  I can also confidently say that the environment stability improved significantly since we upgraded from version 6.4 to 6.10.1

Good luck

Cheers
Allan
