Blue Prism Not Responding with UIA Highlight

Hello,

We recently updated our Blue Prism version from 6.5 to 6.9 and I am now seeing issues with Blue Prism not responding when I try find the UIA spied elements on IE.  The element can be spied in this mode with no issues but once I select the elements and try to highlight, Blue Prism spins it wheels and basically crashes.  

We did start the build on Chrome but have found some issues with using Chrome with 6.9 and have reverted back to IE for now in order to keep moving forward with our builds.  

Has anyone else seen this issue?  The element we are spying needs to have Global Send Keys as the option for writing.  I have tried AA as well but it has difficulty finding this particular element due it having another field that is linked with it.  If one field is updated, it will carry over to that companion field.

Hello Leslie

Have you tried playing with the attributes of the selected element? When you highlight, Blue Prism would try searching for the same element based on the selected attributes. What I would suggest you here is to minimise the number of attributes selected and see if it improves the performance. 

If that doesn't solve the issue, I would suggest you to raise a ticket with the Support team

Thank you @KaranSareen for your response.  I did try removing and adding different elements and have also tried spying other fields with the UIA mode.  Regardless what is spied, Blue Prism just doesn't respond when trying to highlight the element in UIA mode.  ​​
