Cannot delete an user due to "lock on a process"

When I try to delete an user(System->Security->Users->Delete) who left our team from Blueprism, below message appeared and I could not delete the user.
"This user currently has a lock on a process. Cannot delete this user."

This user already left our team and we need to somehow release user's lock from outside and delete the user ID.
Is there any solution to release user's lock?

this means that the user is already logged inside of a process. Due to this action you can't erase the user. First reenter the process, logout normally and then erase the user.

Thank you for prompt response. Surprised that it was so quick!

As user already left our team, we cannot ask the user to re-enter the process.
In such case, are there no other choice than leave this user ID in Blueprism?

Hi,

Go to the process unlock wizard. Unlock that particular process/object locked by that user Id, forcefully. It will resolve the issue.

@Shima Daisuke

You should also be able to use the unlock wizard to unlock all processes/objects across the entire environment if you cannot find the process easily.

Where can I find the "Unlock Wizard"? I would appreciate if you could give me instruction how to open the wizard. Thanks.

Hi,
If a process/object was locked by any other user and you tried to open the same then one pop up window will appear. (I know only this way to get that wizard)
There you can see a link type where its mantioned as unlocking wizard. By clicking  on that, it will open one wizarad where it will ask to unlock all or specific.

If you go with unlock all then all users unsaved work will be lost.

Otherwise u can select a particular process or object locked by that id to unlock.

Sorry for not attaching the screenshots.

As Sutirtha mentioned, you get to the unlocking wizard by trying to open a process or object that is currently locked and it should walk you through the steps to unlock the process. Just recognize that it gives you the ability to unlock all the processes and objects at the same time. Just be careful in case someone is editing at that moment because you'll cause them to lose their changes since their last save.

OK, thank you (and my apology for late response.) I will try to open all the process/object to check if any of them are locked by the user. Will post the result once confirmed.
