Can Capture be used on a MS Team call when remotely sharing screens or does the Capture client need to be installed on the subject matter expert or advisors actual PC?
Ideally we want to be able to remotely capture the process either live in Teams during a screen sharing call or in a screen recording and use this to drive the Capture process.

For capture to work it needs to be installed or you can use the .exe (which doesn't require installation )in the Process SME's machine as it uses the task extraction and computer vision technology to intelligently record and interpret what's going on in the users' machine.

After lots of digging it seems that according to the documentation you should be able to use MS Teams and by sharing a remote screen capture the process that the SME is working through. That said it does not appear to be working as described in the documentation.

Kevin,
When you are trying to record a process via TEAMS, where is the Capture application running? On your machine or the remote SME's computer?
As Anindya said above and noted in the link included in your post, Capture must be running on the remote person's machine whether it is installed there or running via the .EXE version. I think that help entry is just saying the remote user can share control with you so you can help them work with the Capture application that is running on their machine.
If Capture IS running on directly their machine, was it installed on their machine (with the MSI) or is it running via the EXE version? I can try to reproduce what you are experiencing if you have more details.

Rick

Rick, Capture was installed locally rather than on the Advisors PCs,
It a shame that it could be used remotely to captured the screens that are being shared as many companies lock down Advisors PCs and have tight rules about what applications they allow to be to be loaded.
