Hi Vika,
This is a very common issue.
The suspected root cause is you may have launched excel a few times or if you have opened manually. Check the Task Manager to confirm there is not more than one Excel instance open when you run the attach. Blue Prism bot will have a problem to attach the excel file if it is more than one instance is open.
Close all the window, launch manually from Application Modeler, it should work.
