How to pass the image type value to blueprism startp command line option can you please provide one sample exmple

Hi Team ,

I need to know how to pass the image as input parameter in automateC /run command options.

can you please provide me the sample command line like this for the image type 

AutomateC /run "Excel Test" /resource YourPCHostName /user admin mypwd /startp "<inputs> <input name=""Comment"" type=""text"" value=""Hello World"" /></inputs>"

The image input parameters work by converting the image content into a base64 string, and then saving it into the xml attribute value within the database.

To make this work via cmd, you first need to convert your image to base64, and then pass the base64 string into your value field (ensuring the type is image).

Hi,

Depending on what you're trying to achieve, it might be simpler to save the image and pass in the filename as your input parameter. The process (Excel Test) could then read the file and do whatever it needed to. It would also be easier to test this way!

To use this solution, you'll have to change the process's input parameter from type "image" to type "text". Then you'll have to change your AutomateC command to match, i.e.

Incidentally, if you don't mind my asking, what's the reason for passing an image into the process? It seems pretty unusual, so I was wondering what the use case is...

Hi ,

I found the working version of the image input.

as you mentioned we need to convert the image to base64 but the first 3 section of base64 is height,width and size of the image.

so do you know what is the maximum size of the image we can input in BP ?

I found the working version of the image input.

as you mentioned we need to convert the image to base64 but the first 3 section of base64 is height,width and size of the image.

so do you know what is the maximum size of the image we can input in BP ?
