I am getting this error when trying to import a process. "An error occurred while attempting to import the release:
Import failed: Could not decrypt data: Padding is invalid and cannot be removed."

Hi @HannesB55

Wanted to check if there were any modifications done to the release file after exporting?

Also wanted to know the version of BP environment from where the release was exported and being imported?

Best Regards,
Sayeed Bin Abdullah

Hi @HannesB55,

If importing a release from another environment, ensure:

  • No sensitive data (like credentials) was exported, or
  • Both environments share the same encryption keys.

As a resolution, please uncheck the credentials when you are importing and create the credentials manually.

Hi Sayeed.

Thank you for your reply. I found the problem was actually in credential manager. One of the credentials I was using in the release was causing this error. Got it sorted.

Thanks,

Hannes
