As of last month, I downloaded and worked with the Blue Prism Learning edition. I was able to launch and use Blue Prism on my laptop which previously ran on Windows 10. Now that I have updated my laptop to Windows 11 I receive the following error when trying to open Blue Prism:
BluePrism.DatabaseInstaller.DatabaseInstallerException: Unable to determine whether database exists - A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 50 - Local Database Runtime error occurred. Error occurred during LocalDB instance startup: SQL Server process failed to start.)

I tried to uninstall the Blue Prism Learning edition software (Uninstall) multiple times as proposed by Answered: An error occurred whilst configuring Blue Prism lo... - SS&C Blue Prism Community that I found on the community page. But this did not overcome the error message. As I want to install the software on my company laptop I reached out to local IT support and decided it was best to replace my laptop with a new one (clear it completely and set it back to fabrication settings) so we were sure the Blue Prism software was removed completely. After resetting my laptop and reinstalling Bleu Prism Learning edition I still encountered the same error message.

I tried to downloaded the SQL Server 2017 Express from the Microsoft website (Download Microsoft® SQL Server® 2017 Express from Official Microsoft Download Center), which also encountered a download fail.
Blue Prism still runs into the same error when I try to finish the download. Technical expertise is somewhat limited and I was wondering whether one can help me with fixing this problem.
