Hi Christoph.
Did you find a reason for this and a solution? I think we're having the same exact issue. Our problem seems to be related to attaching to a java applet.

Hi @viralshah,
Could you please share a screenshot of the error from the Listener, if possible?
Additionally, are you encountering this issue while trying to attach Java Applet as @JesperHededam1 mentioned?

Error I'm getting for Java application as well as for Mainframe application. For Mainframe I'm getting an error, BluePrism.ApplicationManager.clsLocalTargetApp and for Java, Root element is missing.
Thank you

For Java Application:- Make sure the application type is correctly set in the Application Modeller (Java Mode) and configuration is made as per the steps mentioned in the below Java Automation Guide
https://docs.blueprism.com/en-US/bundle/blue-prism-enterprise-6-7/page/helpJavaAutomation.htm
For Mainframe Application:- What is the application type selected in application modeller?
What steps you are following to attach to Mainframe window?

everything is set as it suppose to. We started seeing this issue after upgrading from 6.8 to 7.3.1. The same process working fine on other VDI. it's just 1 VDI , we are having an issue which is very strange.
I'm 100% sure, it's not an issue with setting up config or selecting correct application on application modeler.

Is attach functionality working fine for other modes like Win32 or Browser mode in this VDI?
Best Regards,
Sayeed
