Hi, I am trying to read Greek Characters from an email but the Data Item "Message Body" has a different type of characters. Are there any options to make sure the same characters are in the Blue Prism text data Item? Thank you, George.

Hi neagoegeorgeandrei I just attempted with all of the greek letters I could find here: http://reference.wolfram.com/language/guide/GreekLetters.html Which are: α β γ δ ϵ ζ η θ ι κ λ μ ν ξ ο π ρ σ τ υ ϕ χ ψ ω Α Β Γ Δ Ε Ζ Η Θ Ι Κ Λ Μ Ν Ξ Ο Π Ρ Σ Τ Υ Φ Χ Ψ Ω ε ϑ ϰ ϖ ϱ ς φ ϒ ϝ ϟ ϛ ϡ Ϝ Ϟ Ϛ Ϡ They seem to be output fine in the ""Message Body"" of the Blue Prism MapiEx VBO Action ""Get Mail"". Which letters exactly are not getting ""translated"" correct? BR, Mustafa

Hi George 1) Which version of MapiEx do you have? If you have an action called ""Encode HTML As ASCII"", then you have the newest MapiEx BO version. If you do not have the latest version, I recommend you get it at https://portal.blueprism.com/products/addons . There are some changes to the newest MapiEx BO in regards to double-byte character sets and ASCII, although the greek alphabet isn't double-byte character, but still, worth a try. 2) Which version of Windows and Office package do you have installed? I am assuming you are attempting to read from Outlook, right? 3) Not sure if it matters, but which keyboard do you have installed? I attempted with my local (Danish) and the standard greek keyboard input language, and I can still get the greek letters with both keyboard input languages. But as far as I can see there are 8 greek keyboard input languages (in windows 7), some of which are latin. 4) Can you try to greek letters into notepad, and back into a new email, you send to yourself. Try to read this e-mail and see if the outcome is the same. Perhaps there is some sort of encoding, copying to and from notepad should remove this encoding. BR, Mustafa
