Multiple Installations of BP in one domain

Hi, do you foresee any issues with having one set-up of Blue Prism (v6.6) and another set-up Blue Prism (v.6.10) in one domain? Will I have issues with using the same default port in both set-ups? Thanks

Hi Stephanie,

If you were referring to having more than one Blue Prism environment set up under a single domain controller, I do not really see why this is not doable. You must designate a different port for a different service if setting up multiple Blue Prism environments on a single machine. But on the domain level, it should not be a problem.

Hey @StephanieStrydo
Below are the points you need to take care

1) A single certificate can be used multiple times on a given device such as where there are Runtime Resource listeners using different ports (e.g. 8181 and 8182). Where a multiple-SPN or wildcard certificate is used, it may be possible to deploy the same certificate across multiple devices.
2) Within a single Blue Prism environment, it is possible to have a mixture of Runtime Resources that require secure connections and those which do not. A central setting within Blue Prism can be used to prevent all associated Runtime Resources from accepting any instructional communications which are not encrypted.

PFA "Securing Blue Prism Network Connectivity" Guide to look out for more information regarding the same.
