Hi,
When logging onto Oracle E-business Suite in Internet Explorer, there can be a number of responsibilities to choose from (a tree menu).
What would be the best way to navigate that so that you find a responsibility that you want and the appropriate action so for example, there could be a responsibility among the list called "invoices clerk" and when you click on that so that it expands showing "add invoice" and "find invoice" and you want to click on find invoice.

If the tree is rendered in HTML and you can spy the leaf node you want, you may find that you can click it without expanding the branches above.

HTML Mode would work for the above scenario, to click the tree menu. Post which once it goes into Oracle E-Business Suite only Surface Automation is supporting.

For navigating responsibilities, unfortunately you cannot simply select the one you want with a single action.
You could do one of two things:
1) Individually click on each component of the tree to expand/navigate your way to the area of the responsibility you want, one at a time. A collapsed category will hide its children from the HTML code and as a result: the business object won't find it.
2) Set preferences, for the EBS user assigned to your process, to have EBS automatically navigate to a specific responsibility/section upon logging into EBS.
