Hi everyone,
We have recently used the most recent version of Microsoft Outlook Email from Digital Exchange and are experiencing issue with the "Microsoft Outlook Email VBO v10.4.1" in our automation setup. Every time when trying to send or retrieve emails, We encounter the following error:
Error: Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)
We have already referred to below link from Blue Prism Support Forum
However we have not received any issues with an existing/Old Microsoft Outlook VBO
Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi Nikhil,
I understand you've reviewed the Knowledge Base article about the generic "RPC server unavailable"/0x800706BA error which states this is a Microsoft error and not caused by Blue Prism. If this is only occurring when using the new Outlook VBO, there may be some additional O/S adjustments and/or design considerations to account for the changes between versions. Have you tried following the suggested resolution steps to check and adjust the RPC settings in Windows and using 'Close Instance' actions instead of 'Close All Instances' actions?
Also, there are a couple other O/S-level considerations you could look into outlined in the Outlook VBO-specific KB article about this error: BPE error "RPC Server Is Unavailable (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)" when using the MS Outlook VBO

Hello Paul,
Unfortunately we were not able to find any fix and had to revert back to Old version of Microsoft Outlook Email VBO
