SQL Developer - Spying and other tips

Hello,
I'm trying to spy SQL Developer.  I am using an application modeller of IE but once it is launched I can't spy anything inside of it.  Any ideas?  Also any other tips from people who have worked with SQL Developer/Blue Prism?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi Jonathan,

You need to give the path of the SQL developer executable in the modeler and name of the running process while running the attach action. Using modeler of IE object is not needed. Try creating a new object instead.

Thanks Shashank.  I was able to get it to launch but it only spies the entire window and nothing inside.  Not sure if there is another way outside of surface automation (or OLEDB connection).  Do you know anyone who has successfully spied within SQL Developer?

If you mean Oracle SQL Developer - it is a java application and you need to use Java mode. Not sure if it will work properly with all the elements. Maybe you mean some other SQL Developer?

p.s. If you are trying to use SQL developer to run queries for RPA - you are doing it wrong.
