Scheduler & Extra

We have a process which uses Extra! X-treme 9.5 / Micro Focus.
We can run it manually succefully but if we try to run it via Scheduler it doesn't work at all: it might go through a couple of steps or 1 round, and if it manage to do something: it takes minutes to Write one Value or Navigate (for example use Action Global Send Keys to send Enter ("@E@).

Any suggestions how to solve the issue ? Has anyone else faced the same problem ?

Hi Anna,

Thanks for posting your question within our Community Forum.

Please bare in mind that there can be a variety of reasons as to why a Process may run/behave differently on Control Room/Scheduler in comparison with Debug Mode/Studio.

For instance, steps within a process may flow relatively quicker when run in Control Room/Scheduler, when compared with Studio, hence why it is important to follow Best Practices when implementing a code, such as use of Intelligent Wait Stages etc.

However, if the matter is opposite, such as that the processes run relatively slower in Control Room, this could be due to reasons such as Network Latency, Lack of Database Maintenance, excessive logging levels within the process etc.

To address matters of this nature, it would be best to raise a Ticket with the Blue Prism Customer Support team via the Customer Portal with further information such as the errors that are encountered, log file on the Runtime Resource etc. and we'll be able to diagnose further.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Arshad

heips,
thanks for asnwering, ticket has been raised.

But it was new to me that the fastest mode in Debug/Studio is 'relatively slower' than run in Control Room / Scheduler.
Anyway the problem here as you pointed out is opposite: nothing happens (Status App -log shows that).

Best Regards,
annukka
