Single sign on suddenly stopped working! Help!

We've always used single sign on, and it's always been fine but I came in this morning to errors on both Dev and Prod environments. It's asking for me to enter my windows credentials, then when I do, I get the following error System.ServiceModel.Security.SecurityNegotiationException: SOAP security negotiation with 'http://myserverapp:8199/bpserver' for target 'http://myserverapp:8199/bpserver' failed. See inner exception for more details. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The client credential entered was invalid.

My IT team have confirmed I'm still in the correct AD groups and they're not aware of anything else that could have changed. Any ideas??

My bots are still working to their schedule in the background, I just can't log into the management console. I've tried different VM's with BP installed, and got another user to try too and we're both getting the same error on all environments. Thanks in Advance!

Update: It turns out that it was a Windows Security Update that caused the issue - once it was uninstalled the problem went away.

Hi Emma,

Our latest updates and guidance for this scenario can be found in our Knowledge Base here: https://help.blueprism.com/Alerts/1784860762/Latest-on-Windows-updates-from-11th-January-2022-causing-authentication-issues-in-Blue-Prism.htm

This page will be continually updated as information about it becomes available.

It seems with this patch the whole SSO based Blue Prism infrastructure would come to a halt, which would be mean a lot of people going crazy to escalate, resolve and deescalate the situation.

Maybe I missed this but a pro-active communicate for such type of impact would be much appreciated.
I am receiving 3-4 mails of daily digest and summaries from Blue Prism, so I would not mind to get one more, or have such info added to an existing mail 😉

Do we know exactly which update this refers to?
