Unable to spy the elements using the java mode in eclipse.

Hi Team,

  • At first, We copied all the required .dll files into the respective folders. But we failed to spy the elements.
  • Later, We made some changes in the application modeler to spy the elements in eclipse using the java mode. Even though we didn't get any results.
  • But, We can spy by using the "open application Navigator" but not able to spy all the elements in the eclipse application.

Could anyone please suggest the solution for spying the elements using the java mode in eclipse(java application).

Best Regards,
VInith

Hi Vinith

Spying elements using the normal "Point and Click" approach doesn't always work when interacting with Java-based applications, because sometimes you just can't spy the right thing. The Application Navigator can be used to map elements as an alternative. Okay, enough preaching. Could you please confirm whether or not this is your first time trying to automate a Java Base application in this environment?
