screen visible vs visible attribute in Application Modeling

Can any one let us know the difference between 'visible' and 'screen visible' attributes in the Application Modeling?

If you google this:
application modeller "screen visible"
...you get quite a few pages explaining the two. I reckon there might be one for CentrixData there somewhere.
