I support an on-premises installation of Blue Prism 7.1.2 running on Windows Server 2016 with SQL Server 2014. I have a hard deadline to migrate this installation to Azure but cannot migrate the SQL Server because it hosts multiple other databases that cannot move.
I'm exploring the following potential options:
- update Blue Prism to use a different on-premises SQL Instance. After reconfiguration, migrate both app and sql server to Azure
- update Blue Prism to use SQL Azure DB while on premises. Migrate app server to Azure.
I'll be very grateful if anyone can provide documentation or guidance for swapping the database instance of a Blue Prism 7.1.2 install. Thanks!
