Hi Everyone I'm Emmanuel Katto from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), What do you think about the need for a built-in code scanner in Blue Prism to ensure security and compliance? Do you think it would make a significant difference in our projects?

Regards

Emmanuel Katto

I don't think it would be a good use of Blue Prism's time to implement such a feature. And the amount of effort involved in keeping up with updates to it would (I think) be enormous. That said, maybe a feature to support this would be helpful such as an easy way to export all Code Stages from a Blue Prism environment or something like that, and then each company can use their own code scanners to check it. I do think this might be hard though too because I assume code scanners also take into account what libraries are used in order to check for known vulnerabilities, which means the namespaces would also need to be exported and such.
