Would be great to have an alerting for licence expiry or any changes to the allocation, either via the datagateway or an API.

I would like to suggest the implementation of a built-in code scanning tool within Blue Prism. Currently, we face challenges in identifying bugs or vulnerabilities in our Blue Prism projects, as there is no dedicated code scanning tool available. While we attempted to integrate with SonarQube, it did not yield satisfactory results.
The primary issue we encountered with SonarQube is its treatment of the .bprelease files as XML, which leads to inaccurate analysis results. The tool primarily focuses on detecting code smells, which are not applicable or relevant to our specific requirements.
Therefore, I kindly request the development team to consider incorporating a native code scanning tool into Blue Prism which can scan code stages like C#, Visual Basic, JavaScript . This tool would be tailored to analyze Blue Prism's unique code structure and provide comprehensive feedback on potential bugs, vulnerabilities, and any other code-related issues specific to Blue Prism processes.
By having a dedicated code scanning tool within Blue Prism, we can streamline our code review process, enhance the overall quality of our projects, and ensure compliance with security standards. This tool would greatly contribute to maintaining the integrity and reliability of Blue Prism solutions.
Thank you for considering this suggestion, and I look forward to the possibility of a built-in code scanning tool being introduced in Blue Prism.

Problem Statement: Currently we have a number of use cases which require Python scripts to complete specific NLE activity or to support with the management of files such as: encrypting/ decrypting with specific PGP keys converting protected PDF documents to unprotected, editable and readable documents for OCR extraction managing multiple PDF documents such as deleting pages, merging documents These scripts are currently utilised as standalone py files which are triggered via Blue Prism; but not within Blue Prism. Proposed Solution: Include Python as a supported language within Blue Prism code stages Provide Python as an installable supporting application alongside core Blue Prism product installer Provide the ability to run 'pip install' to obtain dependencies for scripts all within Blue Prism.

A manager is prompted to log separately & distinctly into AWD Admin when logged into Hub/Portal. Once that happens, they can no longer view images in Hub/Portal. In a shop where managers are working dynamically in AWD/Chorus, it is not efficient or user friendly for them to have to toggle between their Portal/Hub session where they are reviewing/approving work in queues while at the same time needing to manager their teams business area/work type/queue access to meet the needs of the workload.

Currently you can send batch metadata from Blue Prism to Decipher, however there is no way to reference the Batch Metadata within a DFD. There should be a way to reference metadata sent from Blue Prism to Decipher by use of a Formula or some other way. When a business user goes into a document to validate information being extracted, there may be certain data points that are helpful.
The files/batches could be coming from multiple folders which has a distinct way to handle certain items or based on that folder and the value, a validation list/reference from a table would be calculated.
For example in one implementation, we had client names as the folder structure and based on the folder that the document came from, certain fields could be populated based on referencing a database/table. In an ideal world, we would have just passed that information into the metadata and used a formula to then calculate those other fields but instead, a business user had to manually select the client which then calculated some fields based on the database/table causing an extra unnecessary step.

As a Chorus user I need to be able to print all attachments related to a Case to comply with legal review and FOI requests.
As opening and printing each attachment in Content Viewer is time consuming, I would like:
To be able to print from the attachment context menu in Processor Workspace (this was a documented option for Legacy Workspace on Chorus 20.1 but not implemented).
To be able to print option from the work item context menu in Processor Workspace, with an option to select which child attachments to print.

I believe that creating schedules with multiple servers, where they are executed based on priority, would be an excellent option. For example: I have the BP_2025 robot and the servers: vm01, vm02, vm03, with priority given to vm02. When creating the schedule, I will choose the priority of server availability. If vm02 is occupied, the robot will be sent to vm01. If there is more than one robot with priority for the same server, there should be a field or an ID to determine which execution will be sent. This would make server management much more flexible and drastically reduce costs in cloud environments. Additionally, it would further reduce the incidence of schedules not starting. #ControlRoom

During development for large processes, time is wasted on finding the right page. This can be sped up by organizing the pages, but it would be faster and easier to read if the pages could be grouped and/or colored. Groups could be rolled up and expanded as needed.

When can we expect the implementation of full scale AI in Blue Prism, allowing users to simply write prompts and have the system automatically generate the workflow? Several other RPA tools have already integrated this feature into their core products, and we are eager to see similar functionalities in Blue Prism.

The possibility to have an overview of what logging levels are used within the script, besides the information how much % logging is used. As an example, it is not interesting for us to know how many activities have the status "errors only". However, it is important to know how many activities have the status logging enabled, so that we can minimize the impact on our databases.

Hi everyone,
I'm Emmanuel Katto from Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), I’ve always found it a bit cumbersome to update a value in an environment variable, especially when you need to scroll through a long list, locate the variable, and then manually update it.
For instance, if a member's email address is used in multiple environment variables across different processes, and that member leaves the team, is there a way to easily replace or update all occurrences of their email address in one go—perhaps through an action or code stage that automates this in a single run?
If that’s not possible, wouldn’t it be beneficial to have a search feature that allows you to filter environment variables by their values? Currently, you can filter by variable name (as in v7.3), but it would be great if we could also search by value to make this process easier.
Just a thought I wanted to share with the product team! Any insights or suggestions are welcome.
Regards
Emmanuel Katto

As a developer within Blue Prism RPA, I find myself adding functionality via code stages frequently to add missing core functionality. Sometimes however a code stage can throw an exception with the following exception which makes debugging extremely difficult: ERROR: Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. It would be useful if Blue Prism could have an option to enable a "verbose" logging function which rather than rewriting the root exception, it compliements the rewritten exception with a full stacktrace.

Integrate search into design - enhance design studio functionality and allow searches to be incorporated into design without having to rely on SP and search forms being developed. Having flexibility to incorporate in process search will reduce the time and effort to complete design, ensure that SP syntax is controlled and inline with standards.
Currently we are utilizing in process search where base on criteria results are returned and displayed to user to review and take necessary actions.
Example of in process search are providing users a quick view of other work in system that they will need to consider when working on current work item.
- Account search - search for work pertaining to specific account
- Outstanding work search - search for outstanding work for specific team
- NIGO Bundling search – search for outstanding work for specific broker/ advisor – allowing associates who are performing callout to address multiple pieces of work in one reach out
Thank you

Ability to configure the Quick Search (LKQSRCH) within an automated service or presentation flow using the base line web service called AWDProcessingService - lookupObjects operation. This is a ticket submitted by Nationwide - CS0013505. This search writes a sql query when you enter data on the Search screen. This is different from the other searches which can be configured using the lookupObjects operation. An enhancement is necessary to be able to configure this call successfully. Please enhance to support this search using a web call within the Design studio.
