I believe that creating schedules with multiple servers, where they are executed based on priority, would be an excellent option. For example:
I have the BP_2025 robot and the servers: vm01, vm02, vm03, with priority given to vm02. When creating the schedule, I will choose the priority of server availability. If vm02 is occupied, the robot will be sent to vm01. If there is more than one robot with priority for the same server, there should be a field or an ID to determine which execution will be sent. This would make server management much more flexible and drastically reduce costs in cloud environments. Additionally, it would further reduce the incidence of schedules not starting.

Thank you for raising @Jrwork ,

I understand the request to state, if chosen resource (vm02) is not available, then choose another (vm01).

What are the Robots and Servers?

  • Do these translate to runtime resource machines (Robots) and resource pools (servers)

Plus, within SS&C Blue Prism Next Generation, we have incorporated Clash detection, which improves the digital worker utilization – Processes no longer experience failures due to worker unavailability; instead, we have implemented buffers to queue processes for Digital Workers, ensuring they seamlessly execute once the allocated worker becomes available. Hello @Jrwork

Within the Next Generation Control Center, in 2025 we introduced Dynamic worker allocation with customizable Digital Worker capability groups, which I think covers what you were asking for.

  • When a process run is requested, it is queued and is then executed when an appropriate digital worker is available. This can either be a specific digital worker that was explicitly selected for the process run, or a digital worker from within a selected digital worker group.

Is this inline with what you were wanting?
