Hello,

We recently installed and started using Blue Prism Hub 4.7 and, while the platform offers many features, we have encountered significant usability challenges regarding the Dashboard, Work Queues, and Roles/Permissions. I wanted to share my feedback below in the hope that these issues can be addressed in future updates:

Dashboard Widgets:

  1. All widgets
Currently, there's no way to modify widget names. When adding two identical widgets to the dashboard—each displaying different information—we are unable to rename them for clarity. Customizable widget titles would improve organization and usability.

  2. Truncated Labels
Widget labels are being cut off, which makes it difficult to understand the displayed information fully. Labels should dynamically resize or provide a tooltip to display the full text.

  3. Monthly Utilization Table Widget
The monthly utilization table widget lacks responsiveness. By default, it shows only 5 rows, and when trying to increase the row count, the widget becomes squeezed and practically unusable. Improved layout responsiveness would make this feature far more functional.

Control Room – Work Queues:

  1. Unsaved Settings
In the Work Queues tab, the settings for "Rows per page" and "Compact view" consistently reset (e.g., rows per page defaults to 5, and compact view is always turned off upon reopening). Having these preferences persist would significantly enhance user experience.

Roles and Permissions:

  1. Queue-Level Permission Restrictions
BP Hub Roles currently do not appear to support segregating permissions at the queue level. For instance, if there are two queues, one containing confidential information, there does not seem to be any way to restrict access for specific users. This lack of granular permission control is a critical security gap that needs to be addressed.

These usability and security limitations make certain aspects of Blue Prism Hub 4.7 less effective for us. We believe addressing these gaps would improve the platform's functionality and user experience significantly.

Thank you for reviewing these points, and I hope they can be taken into consideration for future improvements. Please feel free to reach out if you need further clarification on any of the issues mentioned.
