Blue Prism University have released a new Associate Developer Certification Exam for entry level users which focuses on testing the essential skills and knowledge required to configure a simple Blue Prism process automation solution.

Available in English and via OnVue or at Pearson Vue test centres.

Hey , What is the purpose of this certificate? What's the roadmap for it? I see it's an optional certificate, In that case, if I can go for AD01, why this is required?​

After passing this, what's the path a candidate can take?

HI Vivek,

The Associate Developer certification is aimed at entry level developers who may not have the opportunity to gain the recommended 3 months practical experience in developing automations within Blue Prism.  Its aim is to allow users to gain a basic knowledge of automation fundamentals, especially for those who may not have access to Blue Prism in a work environment.  

You are correct that this is an optional path and if this is not for you then you would just take the Developer path and enrol into the Developer Learning Plan.
