Package : Package is where you group all your object,process,queue,Environment Variables, session variable under one package. You can edit in future.
Release : is where you will get all the above into one single package under one file.whereas...
Either you can spy a unique element of each page and cross check it using Wait stage check exist with the element. or you can spy the entire window and check it in wait stage using document loader.
