Thrivent has recently installed BPMChorus 21.2.1.0 on TCServer. Our database is a 3-instance, load-balanced cluster Oracle RAC.
We have found the awdServer application to throw ORA-24798 errors upon the application startup. Through testing of various scenarios, we found the awdServer application *only* fails when there is a load-balanced Oracle RAC. In other words, the application seems to only work under these situations:
- Oracle database is a single-instance OR
- Oracle RAC has 2+ instances but is configured in a fail-over mode (not load-balanced).
SS&C has confirmed they have not tested the TCServer version of their software against a load-balanced Oracle RAC cluster, so I'm reaching out to find out if anyone believes to have this configuration successfully working. I'm hoping to learn it can be done/has been done.
