Where is the example PDD?

Hi all,

I'm writing a PDD and the Delivery Roadmap documentation says that there is an example based on the BP Travel process in the portal, but I couldn't find it. Does anyone have a link to that or any other example?

The Process Definition Document Template on our ROM Delivery page may be what you're looking for here: https://portal.blueprism.com/robotic-operating-model/delivery-methodology/delivery-approach/define/process-definition -- see the links to the documentation, the template, and the checklist at the bottom of the page.

With your reference to the example "BP Travel" process though, this may be part of our Training and Education offerings on the BP University. You might inquire with their team (using this contact page here) if the documentation in the link above is not what you're looking for.

Can you let us know how you get on with the training team and finding the PDD example please. I was looking for the Solution Design Document example that also referenced the BP Travel; process but couldn't find it.

@Kirk Russell After some digging, I was able to locate the example PDD​ in the 'Documents' section of our Portal here: https://portal.blueprism.com/documents/standard?title=process+definition&category=All&lang=1382 

I believe this may be what you're both looking for here. Hope this helps!

Thanks for answering. Like Gracie I am interested in the example documents not the templates but was looking for the example Solution Design Document SDD. ​When I first started using the portal there was an example process worked through by Blue Prism with example docs which was part of the ROM section if memory serves right- this is the BP Travel Process referred to with example PDD and SDD completed with reference to the process to illustrate their use as documents. 

The example process seems to have been taken off the portal during one of the revamps but other documents still refer to it.

Over the last couple years, some of our documentation has been moved off the Portal's "Documents" section and integrated into areas of our Online Help and BP University materials. From the description of the training materials you're looking for here, I would suggest you reach out to​ to our BP University/Training and Education team to get clarification on where these resources may have been moved, or if they are not available, to update/remove the references to them where relevant.
