Hi Folks,

Just a heads-up that we've added our first 3 Microsoft Graph API integrations to the DX:

Microsoft Graph for Excel
Microsoft Graph for OneNote
Microsoft Graph for Users

Next, we'll be working on integrations for SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Cheers,

@ManuToivanen the Graph API integration for Outlook is in tech review now. Hopefully it will be approved within the next week barring any issues.

Hello Eric,

Would you be able to provide us with an indication on when we can expect the SharePoint Graph API integration to be released on the Blue Prism DX?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi @AP.Philippa,

It's in our backlog for this quarter, so we should have it published by end of April.

There are a few other Sharepoint integrations on the DX now if you need something immediately. They're just not leveraging Graph to my knowledge.

Cheers,

Hi Eric,

Thanks for your swift response to my query!

I however do have another question. Is it already known what functionalities BP is aiming to include in the first release of the SharePoint Graph API object?

For example, we are currently looking for file management actions on SharePoint sites, such as: check if a file/folder exist, create/delete folder, upload/download file. Are these functionalities that we can expect to be included in the SharePoint Graph API integration?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Arthur,

The SharePoint API in Microsoft Graph supports the following core scenarios:

  • Access to SharePoint sites, lists, and drives (document libraries)
  • Read-only support for site resources (no ability to create new sites)
  • Read-write support for lists, listItems, and driveItems
  • Address resources by SharePoint ID, URL, or relative path

These are the functionalities expected to be built into the first release.  As Eric mentioned above, there are a few other Sharepoint integrations on the DX now if you need something immediately.  This is expected to be released before the end of our current Q2.

Thanks,
