Hi guys,  I have a quick question. Is Blue Prism supported on Linux? Just for hosting the Control room and database. Robots/Clients will be on Windows OS. Appreciate any info on this. Thanks

Hi Harshil,

I have never seen a Linux version of Blue Prism. That being said, you should be able to host your database on Linux for your Blue Prism instances to connect to.

Blue Prism requires MSSQL.  As I understand it MSSQL 2017 can run on Linux.  Properly configured I see no reason why it would not work.  That said, I am not sure it has been tested with Blue Prism and I am not currently aware of anyone running a Blue Prism environment on a Linux hosted MSSQL database.

It would be good to hear from the Product Team on this subject as they might have tested this configuration.

None of the other Blue Prism components currently run on Linux

Well,

If only Blue Prism supported .NET Core...
