Blue Prism Interactive client running slowly after installing 6.5.1

Hi!

We've upgraded Blue Prism from (believe) 6.4.2 to 6.5.1 recently. After the upgrade the Interactive client keeps freezing (Not Responding) for 10-20 seconds every minute or so. Any idea how to fix this?

I have tried rebooting application servers without any luck.

Hi Stian,

Thank you for your response. The following factors might be contributing to the slowness in Interactive Client

  • Lack of regular database maintenance
  • Multiple sessions of the Interactive Client
  • Too much data on the session filter
  • Higher network latency

Setting automatic Archiving seems to have improved performance.

suggest you to make use of the database house keeping scripts to delete data from session Non Unicode table which will be the largest table in production environment (from my experience) ​
