Can other gateways be used instead of Data Gateways Provided by BP

Hi,

We are planning to use gateways for Monitoring and reporting of the BP Processes. We already have a PowerBI gateway setup in the environment. So can that be used for reporting instead of BP Data gateways?

In the User Guide for Data Gateways explains that this is the tool that captures the data and sending to the external destination of your choice but does not mention that you can use another tool to extract directly from our product (Link HERE and Here)

Our tool knows our product and where we need to go to get the information without compromising security.
