Can't highlight elements after spying java process inside Internet Explorer

Hello all,

I am having an issue with highlighting elments after spying them.

The process we are using is a java.exe that's launched at the moment of opening the website.

The process is being well attached to the Object Modeller and the the spying is realized with java mode : (moment of spying is highlighted in yellow)

However, the issue comes when trying to highlight the spied element :

==> Working with the element is not possible ==> the application modeller is based on "Java-based-application"

I have installed Java Access Bridge, and activated it from control panel and rebooted the machine many times (BPJabInstaller) ==> Fail

I have also tested with JavaFerret and JavaMonkey but failed too due to no recorded java events ( document used)

Do you have any thoughts on the issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT :

log of JAB installation :

Hi,

Have you set 64 bit from application manager mode dropdown ?

I hope your problem will resolve after changing above setting.

Thanks
Nilesh

Hello Nilesh,

Thank you for responding.

I have changed the application manager type to 64bits, but the issue is still there.

Hi Ahmed,

Could you please play around attributes selection? there are might chances to BP is unable to identify element with selected attributes.

Try to select more unique Attributes and also look into parent and child Attributes.

Thanks
Nilesh

Hi Ben,

Even I am facing issue of same kind but the blueprism is able to highlight elements in Java mode i.e the yellow box is visible, however when i spy(CTRL+left mouse click) blueprism is crashing.
Also while installing the BPJabinstaller the dll's are being moved to Jre6 folder, but i  have java 8  installed in my system and it is not showing me any error when i install the jab.

Did you face any issue of similar kind???

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Pavan
