Date Issue in Excel Spreadsheet

Dear All,

I have been facing issues with Date after writing the collection to excel .
1) Date as a Text in Collection.
2) Date as Date  in collection.

1)Date as a Text in Collection:
when I use Date as a Text in collection and after writing it to Excel , the Date format changes from "dd/MM/yyyy" to "MM/dd/yyyy" .  This change occurs randomly each time and not with all the dates . The current BP version I am using is 6.10.

Note: The Excel settings are checked from Format cell and there is no issues on it.

2) Date as a Date in collection:
In this the Date on the"EmptyField"become 12:00:00 value and I am not sure how to get this value deleted . This occurs after writing the collection to excel . This occurs on any empty field of the Date Header.

I guess this is possibly linked to Paste Collection (Fast) is making a mess of date formats | Community Chat (blueprism.com)
Can you confirm whether you are moving data from one excel to another, or just writing in an new excel altogether.

Also, it is worth trying to set the 'Office Authoring language' to something like English India as we use dd/MM/yyyy format.

try it with the UK one as default maybe?

yes its UK by default . However the system time is "dd/MM/yyyy". As you see on my screenshots the dates change to "MM/dd/yyyy" randomly .

Assuming you have issue while writing to excel if possible try to append single quote " ' " as prefix to the date Ex : '01/11/2022 so it will write as text to excel.
