Email - POP3/SMTP Error

Hello everyone, I am trying to send an email with Email - POP3/SMTP, the configuration stage does not give any error, but the Send message stage does give me the following error.

Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: The operation has timed out.

The parameters I have sent you are: SMTP Server--> smpt-office365.com (I tried this later with smtp-mail.outlook.com, it gave a timeout error) SMTP port---->587 Could someone help me? Thanks. All the best.

Hi Lola,

Thank you for being an SS&C Blue Prism customer, and for using Blue Prism.

What version of the Email asset are you using? The reason I ask is, the latest one, available here, has IMAP facilities and also the ability to set a timeout. However, I would suggest you check with your email provider and ensure that they support port 587, as some do and some don't.

If you are still having issues, come back here and we will see what else we might do to help.
