Error While Consuming WSDL Soap Webservice

Hi All,

I am trying to consume a wsdl webservice . On hitting the webservice post calling it from object and passing in the required inputs.

I am getting "Internal : Unexpected error Error in web service - Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1.".

Does anyone have any idea as the cause of this ?

Just to clarify are you trying to post to an exposed Blue Prism object or Process or are you trying to post to a web service outside of Blue Prism?

How you are consuming the services ? have you added it to System using URL to WSDL or you are utilizing the HTTP object ? very simple rule to consume web service is to run them first using SOAP UI or Postman then use Blueprism.

Are you able to consume them using any of these clients ?

Hi,

I am witnessing the same error. I di add the WSDL via System. I did try it via SOAP UI and it does return a message, while in a BP action I get the Internal : Unexpected error Error in web service - Data at the root level is invalid. Line 1, position 1 error.

Any tips_
