Generate A Report of the Logging Levels for Processes and Objects

Hi

We are currently experiencing an issue with the size of our Blue Prism database. In order to manage this we are looking to perform an overview of the logging levels of all our live Objects and Processes.

This is so we can reduce the logging levels where appropriate, to slow down the growth of the database.

Is it possible to generate a report from Blue Prism which shows the current logging levels for all Objects and Processes in that environment?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris,

Visibility of logging levels was improved from version 6.6. One of those improvements was the addition of a 'Logging' built-in report which is accessed through System > Reporting > Logging.

This report generates a list of Processes and Objects; how many stages they contain and how many stages have logging enabled.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Carl

Is the logging level setting captured and stored in the BP back-end database?  If so, which table?

Hi Neil - I'm pretty sure it's not anywhere in the DB, other than within the process XML itself.
