Hi Saigiridhar,

As an example, you can run the following command to initiate the Login Process remotely.
Also, note the XML parameter of supplied command is applicable with Blue Prism version 6.5 and above.

Hi Jega - thanks for this, but take it this to run a BP process named "Login" with start-up parameters. I'm looking for a way to start the Login Agent Resource on a machine that is logged off and not running LA Resource. We have sometimes observed that LA resource is not as persistent as an RR resource and tends to drop off while a machine is in logged off state and take the RR in the Control Tab to an offline state. If we restart the machine, it does activate the LA resource. I'm trying to achieve the same result without restarting the machine, hence the need to understand CMD line way to start a LA resource on a machine. Any help on this is welcome.

Hi Saigridhar,

May be your could utilize the following Windows native command to start/stop the Login Agent Service remotely.
SC \\hostname LoginAgent stop
SC \\hostname LoginAgent start

Thanks Jegendra for looking into this.

What I have discovered is, whil login agent service is still running, if we kill the BP runtime inside the RR it would change the VDI to logged off state. That was what I was looking for and seemed to work, thank you.
