MS Excel VBO(Pivot action)

Hi Team,

Below am mentioning the exact issue which am facing. Here the trigger point is Mail, Am sending more than 2 mails to mail with input attachment, It is reading those mails one by one and start respective process, while running first process it is running fine and giving output, but from second process it is not doing Excel operations(Pivot actions) and sending empty output files, am attaching "Logs" below. Bot is running from "control room" 

1) First process Logs :​

Here in below highlighted Logs,  we can see that "Pivot in Excel" Page, "Obj_Excel_Pivot_UC15" object, Pivot Action is done, But in Next process(Next SS) Bot not doing that action. 

2) Second and also for other processes also :​

Here in below highlighted logs, The Pivot action is not doing by Bot.​

Could you please tell us the reason why this issue is  happening

Have you spied excel to work on Pivot or using code stage to perform the steps?

Hi Sandeep,

Could you please check how many excel instances are open while second process running?

I am assuming due to 2 or more instances are open bot trying to apply pivot on blank excel\sheet and that blank excel sending to mail.

@Sandeep Reddy You are getting this issue because the file is locked by some other process . If there is a macro there its better to call it in object level or write a code stage for it ...​

Hi MAte,

I have a process where I need to open excel , the pivot is already created , only we need to change the reference range and refresh the sheet , how can we trigger this from blue prism 

if we create Macro recording and run the Macro from blueprism does this work ? but the excel files are dynamic
