Hi Guys,
I am having a clarification regarding object identification in mainframe applications. I am using Reflection workspace emulator. Currently while identifying different objects(elements) in mainframe application I am getting only a grid and inside which I am able to draw different regions to capture the elements from the application. It is similar like surface automation. Is there any different way to identify the objects or elements like browser automation(identifying individual elements and its properties) for mainframe applications.

No the grid is the normal way for mainframe integration. There are no elements on a mainframe UI, only characters displayed at fixed coordinates. The regions are a way of creating virtual elements, but in reality these elements are just positions on a grid.
