Hii

Iam new to oledb connections , I want to update data to a excel for a specific cell and sometimes multiple using cell refrence . and can it be done without getting excel into collection any idea's or suggestions on this please

Hi Gowtham,

Microsoft Access DB engine is the bridge that allows you to connect to any source via OLEDB, without that connecting via a connection string to a data source is not possible.

while iam trying to run open action after set connection Iam getting Internal : Could not execute code stage because exception thrown by code stage: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

Hi Gowtham,

You need to install Microsoft Access DB engine both 32 and 64 bit versions for accessing excel as OLDEB. You can download that in the below link: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=54920

You can try using "Set Cell Value" action related to MS Excel VBO.
